JOHANNESBURG – PAN Africa’s premier news service, Centre for African Journalists (CAJ) News Africa has appointed experienced journalist, Gift Ndolwane, as Assistant News Editor.

The appointment is with immediate effect.

CAJ News Africa Chief Executive Officer, Savious Kwinika, confirmed the appointment at a reception at Melrose Arch, north of Johannesburg.

He said Ndolwane would add value to CAJ News Africa, the continent’s premier news agency as it geared to integrate its widely appreciated news content from across the continent.

“Journalism keeps changing. So, as the continent’s premier Pan African news service, we have to make sure we change with times by engaging well-equipped journalists who perfectly suit in the company’s vision,” he said.

“After going through a number of applications drawn from across Africa, I found Ndolwane being the right candidate to work for CAJ News Africa. I welcome him to the family and hope he will add value,” said Kwinika.

Prior to joining CAJ News Africa, Ndolwane worked as broadcasting journalist for various media houses in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Ndolwane, who also lectured Journalism at Jeppe College in Johannesburg, and had a stint as South Africa’s Facilitator/ Assessor for certified Media Information Communication Technologies (SETTA), boasts wealth of technology background.

He has also worked for various local television channels.

He holds a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism, a Certificate in Digital Filming & Editing, as well as Motion Graphics and Animation.
