New technology improves customer service sector

FraudJOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – A new offering by a black-owned information technology consulting and technology services company with a focus in delivering custom software solutions is set to ease the customer service sector.

ServiceIQ is a product of Zartner Technology.It connects suppliers with potential clients that are in search of services and enables clients to instantly chat with service providers of their choice LIVE on their smart phone and desktop internet using instant messaging.

The offering will run as a web and mobile application, permitting for the provision of service in real time using instant messaging as the core communication technology. The application will firstly be available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone, with BlackBerry to come later.Khashane Motloutsi, Zartner Technology Chief Executive Officer, said ServiceIQ was aimed at transforming the service sector in South Africa and the rest of Africa.

“Service providers will be afforded an opportunity to eradicate time consuming enquiry calls, in addition they will be rated after dealing with the clients,” he said.

ServiceIQ is free for consumers, while service providers pay a monthly fee to have access to the system, with the tariff based on variables such as the number of replies available to respond to requests, the number of users to be active per service provider account and the CRM Modules selected.ServiceIQ consists of a set of enhancing CRM modules that are aimed at providing service providers with enhanced features beyond the core technology.

These include the Bookings Management CRM module which allows service providers to manage and publish their calendars, capture bookings for existing clients, accommodate and accept bookings that originate from the ServiceIQ web and app channels, fulfil bookings and allow automated updates.ServiceIQ will be launched in beta on September 15 — along with the Windows Phone, iOS and Android apps. This will be followed by soft launch a month later.
