NCC LABLAGOS, (CAJ News) – NIGERIA STUDENTS in Enugu State are set to benefit from an exercise technology companies are initiating to upskill youths.

New Century Initiative and Single-click Nigeria expressed excitement at this opportunity to invest, and enhance job opportunities through the
initiative called Computational Thinking.

Secondary school students are poised to benefit.

They will learn how to develop mobile apps, create animations and build websites, which gives them the confidence to develop, promote, and sell
locally relevant mobile apps that can solve local issues of sustainable development and provide employment.

The students will learn creativity, entrepreneurship, idea formulation, problem-solving skills, which can all create a platform for a brighter and
better career in the future.

Organisers said the exercise would provide young people with the high-level skills and confidence to develop, promote, and sell locally
relevant mobile apps that can solve local issues of sustainable development and provide employment.

Statistics state that by 2020, more than 50 million computing jobs will go unfilled globally due to digital illiteracy.
