NAIROBI, (CAJ News) – EAST Africa Com, the biggest information and communications technology event in the region, returns to Kenya in May.
Preparations are underway for the event that is scheduled for the 19th in Nairobi, the capital.
Among other topics to be discussed include overseeing mobile financial services and m-commerce through the connectivity value chain, mobility and efficient e-government solutions.
Finance leaders will examine digital transformation for financial services.
“There has never been a better time for CIOs and heads of digital and technology leaders within financial services to shine,” said Adam Thompson, spokesperson of the organisers.
“The path forward however is undefined and unique market dynamics of East Africa require innovative solutions.”
Among other officials confirmed for the event are Kevin Mwasigwa, Development Manager, Innovation at Digital Channels, National Bank of Kenya.
He will feature alongside James Muritu, the Regional Chief Information Officer at Jubilee Holdings and Martin Omido, Head of ICT, Harambee Sacco Society.
Others are Rohit Kumar Gupta, General Manager of ICT (Group) at I&M Bank and Avi Mitra, Chief Information Officer at Kenya Commercial Bank.
