Nigeria Computer Science students prepare for Congress

Nigerian Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) General Congress 2016OKORO CHINEDU 
LAGOS, (CAJ News) – PREPARATIONS for the second Nigerian Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) General Congress 2016, set for Friday, are at an advanced stage.

The event is set for the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Chapter, Ikot Osurua.

NACOSS President, Ntieneke Abia, said the congress would highlight  developmental strides as led by his administration.

“The Congress is expected to have past and present executives in attendance so as to join heads together or a wonderful and successful NACOSS Week 2016,’ said Abia.

He added the congress would also inform fellow students about the rundown of activities scheduled for the upcoming NACOSS/Student Week.

NACOSS is the umbrella for all students studying Computer Science and other Computer and related courses in Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.

The membership strength and of the association is estimated at 250 000 in 150 local chapters spanned across the six geo-political zones of the country.
