Collaboration announced to groom boys to men
JOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – SAP Africa, the software firm, has partnered the Moving Ahead Development Agency (MADA), a non governmental organization, co-sponsor 45 youths on a career path programme.
Tagged “Boys2Men”, the programme was announced in Johannesburg on Wednesday.
The programme, which seeks to empower boy learners from across the country , will take place between June 27 and July1, when the youngsters will be exposed at various centres on different careers in science, technology, mathematics and engineering.
Sunil Geness, Director of Government Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility at SAP Africa, emphasised the company’s vision to help the world run better and empowering people including youth.
“We are continually investing in Africa ‘s youth on the right path to success and build the skilled workforce needed for Africa’s sustainable growth,” said Geness.
Beneficiaries of Boys2Men are drawn from disadvantaged communities across South Africa.
