‘Microsoft’s Dynamics GP alive and well’

Heath Huxtable EDITJOHANNESBURG, (CAJ News) – INDUSTRY experts have ruled out the demise of Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains).
This has been the prevailing theme at the recent Reignite GP 2017 conference hosted by Braintree, a subsidiary of Vox, in Johannesburg.
“There is a myth that has been circulating – Microsoft Dynamics GP is dead – and it is a myth that can be easily debunked,” said Heath Huxtable, Executive Head of Braintree at Vox.
“Microsoft has continued to invest significant research and development into Microsoft Dynamics GP, ensuring that it remains relevant, that its technology is up to date and that its customers receive exceptional value.”
Huxtable said Microsoft Dynamics GP was “alive and well” with more than 47 000 global customers and thriving international community.
Microsoft Dynamics GP is currently used by organisations in Australia, Canada, Mexico, Middle East, South Africa, United Arab Emirates and the United States, among others.
Braintree, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vox, has been working with Microsoft Dynamics GP for more than 20 years.
Braintree has been Microsoft partners since 1996.
“If nothing else shows our belief in Microsoft Dynamics GP, that does,” Huxtable said.
