Digital revolution accelerated in South Africa’s mining sector

JOHANNESBURG – COMSOL and Ericsson have partnered to accelerate digital transformation in South Africa’s mining sector.
Ericsson will provide Comsol with its Private fifth-generation network (5G) solution to expand enterprise business within the industry.
This collaboration, agreed at the recent Mobile World Congress, is set to help South Africa’s mining industry improve worker safety, increase operational efficiency and realize its sustainability goals.

Ericsson Private 5G is Ericsson’s next generation private network solution providing secure and reliable 4G and 5G connectivity through its single server dual mode core.
